How to Enable the pre-order Module in Your Store? #

Note: Download, install, and activate Booster for WooCommerce to get started with this Module in your store.

  1. Go to your WordPress site dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Booster > Plugins.
  3. Open the options available in the Shipping & Orders category (All Plugins tab).
  4. For the Pre-order plugin in this section, toggle the button towards Enable.
  5. Click the Save Changes button.

How to set or Edit the settings of pre-order? #

Pre-order, created using this Booster for WooCommerce module, will appear in your store/site for all users as pre-order products. Learn how to set Pre-order settings and Email Notification for the Pre-order Products in the next few steps:

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-order.
  2. Expand the Pre-order section.
  3. Click the General Options tab.
  4. List of General options related to the Pre-order
    • Enable Prevent Mixed Cart: This option helps to prevent mixing of regular products and pre-order product in ther cart.
    • Release Date Input Date Format: This option helps to set the style of Date.
    • Pre-order Access: This option helps to allowed access of pre-order products.There are three options available All users, Only Registered Users, and Specific User Roles.
    • Allowed User Roles: This option helps to Set the functinality for Specific User Roles.
    • Click Save Changes.

How to Set Out of Stock Options? #

The Pre-order Module allows you to show pre-order options when products go out of stock.

By enabling an additional pre-order option, you can enhance your customer’s shopping experience.

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-Order.
  2. Expand the Pre-Order section.
  3. Click the Auto-enable Pre-order options to show the pre-order option for out of stock products.
  4. Click Save Changes, and these settings will work for your WooCommerce store.

Explanation of Out of Stock Options Settings:

  • Product Categories – Include: Use this option to include product categories for which you want to enable the pre-order option.
  • Product Categories – Exclude: Use this option to exclude product categories where you don’t want to show the pre-order option.
  • Products – Include: Use this option to include specific products for which you want to enable pre-order.
  • Products – Exclude: Use this option to exclude specific products where you don’t want to show the pre-order option.
  • Default Availability Days: Set the default availability date for pre-order products using this option.
  • Default Price Type: Choose the default price type—whether you want to increase, decrease, or keep the price the same for pre-order products.
  • Default Price Adjustment: Set the price adjustment amount for pre-order products using this option. Don’t forget to save the changes.

    • Pre-order Button Text: Use this option to change the text for the pre-order products button.
    • Button Background Color: Use this option to change the button background color for pre-order products.

    • Button Hover Background Color: Use this option to change the button background color for pre-order products on hover.
    • Button Hover Text Color: Use this option to change the button text color for pre-order products on hover.

Message Customization Option’s Explanation

  • Pre-order Message: Use this option to change the message for pre-order products.
  • Message Style: Use this option to change the message style for pre-order products. There are three options to show the message.
  • Custom Message Text Colore: Use this option to change the message color for pre-order products. It will work for custom message style only.

How to Set Shipping Options for Pre-Order? #

With the Pre-order module, you can set the shipping options for pre-order.

Here’s how you can enable the shipping options for pre-order.

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-Order
  2. Expand the Pre-Order section.
  3. Click the Button Customization tab.
  4. Click on the Enable Free Shipping option to enable free shipping for pre-order products
  5. Set the Free Shipping Label by Free Shipping Label
  6. Click Force Free Shipping Only to show only the free shipping option for pre-order.
  7. Click the Save Changes button to save the settings

How to Set Pre-Order Fee options for Pre-Order? #

With the Pre-order module, you can set a Fee for pre-order products.

Here’s how you can enable the Pre-Order Fee options for pre-order.

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-Order
  2. Expand the Pre-Order section.
  3. Click the Enable Pre-order Fee tab to enable the fee for pre-order products

  • Include User Roles: Use this option to apply the fee to specific user roles for pre-order products.

How to Set Email Notifications Options for Pre-Order? #

With the Pre-order module, you can set Emails to track the pre-order.

Here’s how you can enable the Email Notifications options for pre-order.

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-Order
  2. Expand the Pre-Order section.
  3. Click the Email Notifications tab.
  4. Select the option from Email Notifications to show the email
  5. Click the Save Changes button to save the settings

Resetting Pre-Order Plugin Settings #

Want to use the default Pre-order plugin settings or wish to modify these settings from the very beginning? Try resetting everything. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Booster > All Plugins > Shipping & Orders > Pre-Order
  2. Expand the Pre-order section.
  3. For each of the tabs available for this module, click Reset Settings.
