Bring files and order details into block checkout
Customers ordering personalized products need a simple way to send artwork or extra details. Booster brings supported file uploads and custom fields into the WooCommerce Checkout block, so those details can travel with the order.
What Booster 9.0 adds
- Collect files during block checkout. Customers can upload an allowed file, remove it and replace it before placing the order. Required-file feedback helps them see what is missing.
- Use your Place order button wording. Apply the supported button-label setting in the Checkout block.
- Keep using supported custom fields. Text, select and checkbox fields are supported; radio choices appear as a select. These field foundations were available before 9.0.
A practical workflow
Enable Checkout Files Upload and configure an allowed file type and clear label.
Test the Checkout block with one product and a sample file.
Open the resulting order and confirm the permitted file is attached to that order.
For example, an artwork store can ask for a design file at checkout instead of collecting it in a separate email conversation.

Blocks support does not unlock paid module options or increase your edition’s configured field limits.
Use the supported configuration
This is not universal Blocks compatibility. Textarea fields, Classic-only placements and unsupported options do not automatically become block features. Conditional custom-field visibility needs WooCommerce 9.9 or later. Check your theme, gateways and other checkout extensions on staging.
Booster 9.0 also improves affected HPOS order exports and reports. These are compatibility and reliability changes, not a promise of measured speed gains.
