Description
Understand a fee before you change a rule
Not sure why a configured payment fee applies? Enter a few purchase facts and read the reason without changing a shopper’s cart. You can also check a small return-queue summary without opening each request.
Inside Booster

From a fee question to a useful answer
Choose the fee.
Open WooCommerce > Rule explanations and select a configured gateway.
Enter the facts.
Supply merchandise, shipping and tax amounts. Free and Plus use a sample guest purchase; Elite also accepts role and product facts.
Read the reason.
See whether the supported fee rule matches, does not match or cannot be safely evaluated. Use that information to review your configuration.
The result is the fee evaluator’s amount before WooCommerce fee tax and rounding. It is not the customer’s final total or proof that a gateway is available.

Check the queue without exposing customer details
WooCommerce > Return Requests summary shows status and current review/unavailable counts for the latest up to 50 request IDs. It leaves out customer details, order identifiers, reasons and amounts.
A full sample may be truncated. Unavailable counts remain unknown rather than zero, and reads are sequential rather than one atomic store snapshot. Elite Morning Store Briefing reuses this same bounded summary; it does not turn it into a whole-store report.
A diagnostic aid, not an automatic store operator
- These tools cover listed Booster rules, not every rule from a theme, gateway or another plugin.
- Dynamic fee titles, active multicurrency and unsupported facts are not guessed.
- Elite payment and shipping scenarios are not final gateway availability or a shipping quote. Comparing scenarios does not select a winner or change settings.
- Current management permissions and module restrictions still apply. The admin tools need no external assistant. Optional WordPress Abilities are not a promise that a named AI client or connector works.
Try one known configuration first
Use a configured gateway fee with a known threshold and enter one sample guest purchase. The guide shows the exact fields, a small worked example and what to do with unavailable results.
Follow the rule explanations and Returns Summary guide
Set up Return Requests or read the existing Order Health guide. Order Health and Morning Store Briefing were introduced in Booster 8.4; the bounded Returns Summary connection is part of 9.0.
