So it seems the custom email simply doesn’t work.
Once I resolve another problem, the admin email is being received on the Payment Pending orders. But nothing is received from the Booster Custom Emails.

Hmmm … Oddly, it’s not resolved when I disable the custom email.
Which suggests some other change on the site, occurring around the same time as me enabling Custom Emails, is causing the problem.
Investigating.
