    Dear Sirs hi.

If I use your widget to hide from search and pages the disconinued products, will this affect my SEO?

    How does it work?

    Best regards

    Hello,

Hiding discontinued products using the Booster widget will remove them from the front-end product listings and search results in your store. This means search engines will also not see these products, which can affect their indexing and ranking over time.

The feature works by filtering products at query level, so they are excluded from WooCommerce loops such as shop pages, category pages, and search results. The products remain in your database and can still be accessed directly via their URL unless you set them to draft, private, or redirect them.

Dear David thanks for immediate reply.

The method I will try to apply is this:

    Booster >
    Product Listings >
    Shop page Display Options>
exclude categories products (I have created a NON CATEGORY products where I put all product that are being discontinued)

When I activate the widjet in my woodmart theme – indeed these poducts are hiden from product listings and search results.

However the product direct link works.

Please, once more, confirm that the above method will indeed affect my SEO as already advised me.

    Best regards
    Georgios
