Has anyone had their country IP detection stop working?
Our site used to show pricing in the users local currency because of the Prices and Currencies by Country module.
This has stopped working.
I can manually change the country using the county selector shortcode, which then changes the displayed prices.
But the visitors from other countries are defaulting to our local New Zealand currency/country here.
I can replicate the issue by loading the shop page into a site like locabrowswer.com and all other countries load as New Zealand.
The country selected using the drop down selector is also not being retained when navigating to a different page, it is reverting back to New Zealand.
I have checked the settings which are all set to only Override currency at Checkout, not when navigating shop/product pages.
Help? anyone know what I can do about this? I have had to disable the multi currency as it’s causing more problems than help.
Whenever I select a currency with the switcher, the page refreshes in that currency, but as soon as I navigate to another page or product, the default currency is restored.
I’m thinking I might have to pay for the Woocommerce multicurrency extension 🙁
