Booster Plus for WooCommerce (i.e. paid/pro version)

I’ve bought Booster Plus, but didn’t receive an email with download link.

  • Please recheck your spam folder.
  • If message is not there – you can log to Your Account at http://booster.io/my-account/ and download zip from there.
  • If you still unable to get zip, please contact us on support@booster.io and we’ll send you the plugin manually.

There is no zip file to upload to WordPress on my Mac.

If your Mac unzipped the theme file you downloaded you can either try to re-download it using another browser that doesn’t auto-unzip it, or a simpler solution is to just right click the folder on your Mac, and select “Compress…” which makes a new zip file for you.
You can then upload the zip file correctly via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

How to install Booster for WooCommerce Plus?

After you downloaded plugin, please:

  1. Log in to your site’s Dashboard (e.g. http://www.yourgroovydomain.com/wp-admin)
  2. Click on the “Plugins” tab in the left panel, then click “Add New”.
  3. Press “Upload” and search for “booster-plus-for-woocommerce.zip” file.
  4. Install it by clicking the “Install Now” link.
  5. When installation finishes, click “Activate Plugin”.
  6. You’re done!

How to upgrade Booster Plus plugin?

Since Booster Plus v3.0.0, updates can be done automatically from your Plugins page – same as with free plugins from wp.org (however you will need to enter your site key). If you have Booster Plus below v3.0.0 installed, please follow these steps:

  1. Download new version’s zip file from your account page.
  2. Deactivate and delete old Booster Plus version (don’t worry your saved settings won’t disappear).
  3. Install new version’s zip.

How do I get my site key for Booster Plus plugin?

To get the key, please visit “Downloads & Keys” tab at your account page.

Can I change site for my key?

Yes, you can delete old and add new site at any time.

After entering site key, I’m getting “Error: Wrong key” message.

Please recheck that site url which you have entered when generating key on your account is exactly the same as displayed at your site in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Dashboard > Site Key” (it’s just below the input field for the key).

Booster for WooCommerce (i.e. free version)

How to install Booster for WooCommerce (free version)?

The easiest way to install Booster is via your site’s Dashboard. Please follow these instructions to install and connect Booster:

  1. Log in to your site’s Dashboard (e.g. http://www.yourgroovydomain.com/wp-admin)
  2. Click on the “Plugins” tab in the left panel, then click “Add New”.
  3. Search for “Booster for WooCommerce” and the latest version will appear at the top of the list of results.
  4. Install it by clicking the “Install Now” link.
  5. When installation finishes, click “Activate Plugin”.
  6. You’re done!

How to install Booster for WooCommerce development version?

  1. Download plugin’s development version zip from http://booster.io/dev/.
  2. Deactivate and delete current Booster for WooCommerce plugin on your server (don’t worry your saved settings won’t disappear).
  3. Install development version zip file you downloaded earlier.

How to install old (i.e. downgrade) Booster for WooCommerce version?

  1. Download any version’s zip from https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/advanced/.
  2. Deactivate and delete current Booster for WooCommerce plugin on your server.
  3. Install zip file you downloaded earlier.

General Questions

I’ve got “Internal Server Error” after plugin update or install.

Try increasing WP memory limit by adding to wp-config.php file:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

To be sure that this is memory shortage that is causing the internal server error message, try enabling the debug mode, by changing to define('WP_DEBUG', true); in wp-config.php file. If you get something like “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in …”, then increasing the memory allocated to WordPress should fix the issue.

I would like to use some Booster for WooCommerce shortcode in my PHP code.

You could try using WordPress do_shortcode function, e.g.:

echo do_shortcode( '[wcj_country_select_drop_down_list]' );

I would like to use some Booster for WooCommerce shortcode in src attribute of HTML <img> tag.

You need to alternate single and double quotes, e.g.:

<img src="[wcj_product_custom_field name='my_image_url_1']">

or

<img src='[wcj_product_custom_field name="my_image_url_1"]'>

I would like to run filter on some Booster shortcode’s results.

There is wcj_shortcode_result filter you can use, e.g.:

Minicart widget content is not showing correctly.

If you are experiencing problems with WooCommerce minicart widget, e.g. prices or currencies are not displayed correctly, you can fix this by enabling “Recalculate Cart Totals on Every Page Load” option in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Emails & Misc. > General > Advanced Options”. Please note that “General” module must be enabled as well.

Date and Time picker fields in custom checkout fields not working with the Bridge theme.

Add custom CSS to “Qode Options > General > Custom CSS” or any other custom CSS tool (e.g. “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Emails & Misc. > General > Custom CSS – Front end (Customers)”):

    Is there a way to bulk edit the products? i.e. we need to replace (but not delete) the product prices on some specific categories using “Custom Price Labels” ? Thanks

    Thanks for your plugin,

    How do i make the shortcode of wholesale pricing appears like your example. The shortcode comes with a small letter “f” and there is no line separating the tables columns and rows.

    Please help provide a solution

      Hi,

      You can style shortcode’s wholesale price table with CSS. If you are using [wcj_wholesale_price_table] shortcode CSS class for table is wcj_wholesale_price_table, and if you are using [wcj_product_wholesale_price_table] shortcode the class name is wcj_product_wholesale_price_table. Regarding small letter “f” – not sure where that came from, I rechecked on my test server and I can’t reproduce the issue – there is no “f” letter displayed for me. If possible please create/share an admin account to your server so I could login and check what’s going on (my email is tom@booster.io).

    Is there any priority order to installing “Booster for WooCommerce” and other plugin such as “Woocommerce”?

    I installed “WooCommerce” then “woocommerce advance Shipping” plugin and then “Booster for WooCommerce” plugin .
    by activating core checkout Filed in “Booster for WooCommerce” by selecting state / city in check out process “”woocommerce advance Shipping plugin” can not calculate the shipping price properly

      Hi,

      The highest price is shown because that’s the price for the 1 item (the default amount). Showing a different price for selected amount would be misleading to customers as they would see the lowest price but the added one would be the highest. I would suggest adding a wholesale table using the [wcj_product_wholesale_price_table] shortcode so that the customers could see different prices for different amounts.

    I make a custom field for checkout form and I need to export any order with billing first name, last name, products and custom field to CSV or any similar.

    Hi,

    The pdf invoice save as feature only works on ‘ internet explorer’, When using Chrome it gives a ‘ failed- network error’ . Same issue for Firefox,

    Is there a fix?

    I have purchased multisite laversione licensed for life, but in my panel I find messages like “Get Booster Plus to change value.” but I installed the Plus version of the plug in, I do not understand, until a few days ago it worked properly.

      I solved by myself, in a nutshell I deactivated and then deleted the 3 plug in that there were booster for woocommerce (I do not understand why there were 3) I downloaded the latest version from the site and I installed and activated , I entered the license key and now everything works perfectly.

    Hi,

    i’m using the FREE ver of Booster and have a Multi-languages WP site. I’ve activated few modules and the setup, frontend showing properly in ENG. But for the other language, such as Chinese, all the setup not shown up.

    May i know if the plugin supports Multi-languages site? Or i need to get Pro ver.

    Hi, I installed the Booster Plugin and enabled the custom shipping option and added 2 new shipping options. When I go to my products to edit, the custom shipping options are not there? How do I activate the custom shipping options? Thanks

      Hello Robert,

      After you created your custom shipping you have to set all your options for them here: WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and enable them, then its best to use the Shipping methods by Products (WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Shipping & Orders > Shipping Methods by Products) and add your products (or by category) to your created custom shipping methods.

    Your plugins conflict with Woocommerce REST API so I can’t login on Wocommerce iOS App. I already send an e-mail about this and only got 1 reply. I already email your team again asking for follow up but never got replied. You plugin also conflicted with other Pro plugin for Excel-like bulk editing.

    If there’s no solution for my problem, where and how I can ask for refund since your support email didn’t replied to my previous email??

      As mentioned in private email – we’ve just added this to the plugin’s development version. Now in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Shipping & Orders > Order Min/Max Quantities”, you will find new “Single Item Cart” Options section at the bottom.

      Hi Mike,

      Booster sets wcj_products_per_page cookie in “Products per Page” module (“WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Products > Products per Page”). This of course is true only if you enable “Products per Page” module itself. Other than that there are no additional cookies used.

      As for stored information – Booster doesn’t store any user info, except obvious cases like storing customer’s entered EU VAT number, if you have “EU VAT Number” module enabled (“WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Cart & Checkout > EU VAT Number”) etc.

    Good day,

    I have purchased your premium booster for WooCommerce.

    Unfortunately this is creating conflicts with the WooCommerce API and I cannot use the WooCommerce App anymore. I know this is causing the issue as it works perfectly when this plugin is disabled!

    Please tell me there is a work around for this as I really like your Plugin, but at the same time being able to access the store via the app is critical.

    How can we have the key working on a staging website?
    My staging site is on http://www.staging.mydomain.com and it says Error: Wrong key.

    Can you authorize staging sites at least because now it’s breaking everything to have Booster deactivated and I just can’t test anymore… Purpose of the staging site is also to test in real conditions with all plugins activated…

      Hi,

      Unfortunately if you have one site license you can only use it on one site (so no staging site). To create multiple keys you need a multi-site license which you can upgrade to if you want. If you do own a multi-site license, go to https://booster.io/my-account/downloads/ and generate a new key for your staging site – copy the url from the license activation screen and add it in the page.

      Could you please try enabling Booster’s “General” module (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Emails & Misc. > General”) and enabling “Recalculate Cart Totals on Every Page Load” checkbox there. If that doesn’t work, please contact us directly at support@booster.io.

    Since last time I updated Booster Plus for Woocommerce, my site crashed. After I deactivated this plugin, the site is well, however, when I want to activate it again, it shows:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=’, expecting ‘)’ in /home/englao/public_html/shop/wp-content/plugins/booster-plus-for-woocommerce/includes/class-wcj-product-tabs.php on line 133

    I would need 2 shortcodes (or any other solution) to edit correct credit notes : one would show the “order total amount refunded excluding tax” and the other would point to “order total tax refunded”

      We have added your suggestion to our todo list. At the moment the existing shortcode ([wcj_order_total_refunded]) does not allow specifying whether tax should be included or not.

    Is there a possibility to Create a package of existing products.

    At the moment we use whosale price module.
    But we want of some products that they can select the products in a bundle.

    With a bundle price.
    And that the stock is correctly updated of the separate products.

    Hello, I am using Booster to generate another separate email that goes out when an order is completed. This is working great except that we have 2 variables that need to go into the email, one is the customer’s email address and one is a custom field that we have created for the product being purchased.       Hi Charles,

      You can add custom checkout field to billing section and set its priority to a low number (for example 10 or lower), this should make it the first field in this area and since billing is the top section, this field should be the very first field in checkout page.
